The Learning Oasis will inspire enterprise learning among our technology savvy students. The Learning Oasis will be a traditional classroom repurposed to feel like no other classroom. One part den and one part coffee shop, traditional desks will be replaced by couches and comfy chairs to inspire students to learn more amid soft lighting and Earth-toned paint and decorations. It will serve as a reward for students excelling in traditional classroom settings. |
| Impact Of Grant: |
The Make a Difference Grant would be used to remodel one of our traditional classrooms, including new paint, decorations, furniture and technology, including lap tops, iPads® and televisions. Academic subject and job-exploration software will also be purchased and available to students. The Learning Oasis would be ready for the start of the 2013-14 school year. |
